Glass Technician

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Cut, process and install glass safely and to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and cut glass using correct lifting and safety methods
• Install single, double-glazed and laminated units
• Fit gaskets, setting blocks and silicone correctly
• Check finished work for alignment and sealing

Requirements

• 3+ years glazing experience
• Knowledge of glass types and safe handling
• Trade certificate is a plus

How success is measured

• Breakage rate
• Rework and call-backs
