Sales Engineer - Pergola Systems

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Sell our complete smart pergola systems (bioclimatic louvres, retractable roofs, zip screens, lighting and automation) to villas, hospitality and commercial projects through engineering-led advice.

Key responsibilities

• Assess site conditions and recommend the right pergola system and configuration
• Check spans, wind and structural loads, drainage and fixing details with the technical office
• Present technical proposals, drawings and 3D designs to clients and consultants
• Prepare costed quotations and negotiate to closing
• Obtain consultant approvals and material submittals for project sales
• Hand over technically complete orders to production and site teams

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Civil, Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• 3+ years technical sales in pergolas, shading, aluminium or façade systems
• Able to read drawings and explain structural and automation basics
• Qatar engineer registration (or eligibility) preferred
• Valid Qatar driving licence

How success is measured

• Monthly sales vs target
• Average order value
• Orders released to production without technical changes
