Accountant

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Record and control the day-to-day accounting of the company accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Post customer invoices, vendor bills, payments and bank entries in Odoo
• Reconcile bank and card accounts weekly
• Follow up receivables with sales and prepare customer statements
• Prepare month-end accruals, prepayments and supporting schedules
• Keep documents archived and audit-ready

Requirements

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance (ACCA/CMA progress is a plus)
• 3+ years accounting experience, preferably in contracting or manufacturing
• Hands-on ERP experience (Odoo preferred)
• Strong Excel and English; Arabic is a plus

How success is measured

• Bank reconciliations up to date weekly
• Month-end close delivered on schedule
• Zero unexplained differences in audit
