Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Lead engineering, product systems and technical standards so Al Zhbya becomes a system designer, not only a fabricator.

Key responsibilities

• Own product system design, testing and certification
• Lead the technical office, estimation and design teams
• Set engineering standards and approval procedures
• Evaluate new technologies, suppliers and materials
• Approve technical submittals on major projects

Requirements

• Bachelor in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering; Master degree preferred
• 15+ years in aluminium, façade or glazing system design
• Knowledge of EN, ASTM and wind-load standards
• Qatar engineer registration

How success is measured

• New systems certified
• Technical errors reaching production
• Submittal approval rate
