General Counsel (Chief Legal Officer)

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Lead legal affairs, risk and corporate governance for the group to listed-company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own legal strategy and major contracts
• Lead governance, board processes and regulatory filings
• Oversee risk, compliance and coordination with internal audit
• Manage litigation and external counsel
• Guide the legal work for the IPO

Requirements

• Law degree; licensed in Qatar or the GCC; LLM preferred
• 15+ years, including senior in-house roles
• Capital markets and QFMA experience

• Legal risks closed
• Governance compliance
• Disputes resolved
