Purchasing Officer

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Buy the right materials at the right cost and time, with fair and documented supplier selection.

Key responsibilities

• Issue RFQs and compare at least three quotations
• Raise purchase orders within approval limits
• Follow up deliveries and supplier performance
• Coordinate imports, shipping and customs documents
• Keep supplier records and price history up to date

Requirements

• Bachelor in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering
• 3+ years purchasing in construction or manufacturing
• CIPS is a plus
• Strong negotiation skills and English

• Materials delivered on time
• Supplier score
