Estimation Engineer

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Price every project accurately so we win work at a healthy margin.

Key responsibilities

• Take off quantities from drawings and BOQs
• Build material, labour and overhead cost estimates
• Obtain and compare supplier quotations
• Prepare tender submissions with sales
• Compare estimated and actual cost after each project

Requirements

• Bachelor in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• 4+ years estimation in aluminium, glazing, façades or steel
• Strong Excel; LogiKal or ERP costing is a plus

How success is measured

• Estimate accuracy vs actual cost
• Tender turnaround time
• Win rate on priced tenders
