Legal Counsel & Company Secretary

Al Zhbya International designs, manufactures and installs smart pergolas, aluminium and glass systems across Qatar.

Role purpose

Protect the group legally and run board and corporate governance to listed-company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review customer, supplier and employment contracts
• Manage disputes, claims and external lawyers
• Organise board and shareholder meetings and minutes
• Maintain company registers, licences and powers of attorney
• Advise on corporate structure and IPO readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor of Law; licensed to practise in Qatar or the GCC
• 7+ years in-house or law-firm experience in commercial and corporate law
• Knowledge of the Qatar Commercial Companies Law and QFMA governance rules
• Fluent legal drafting in Arabic and English

How success is measured

• Contracts reviewed within agreed time
• Board calendar and minutes complete
• Licences renewed before expiry
